About Us

Hands and feet of friends, wowen and men

Happy Seeds Yoga is a place dedicated to parents and kids.

Our goal is to create an open, welcoming, and friendly space for families where they connect mind and heart through body movement, allowing them to be in contact with their higher self. We are committed to build a community for parents and kids through Yoga, Dance, Parenting Classes, Workshops, and Social Emotional Learning. We aim to nurture adults and kids through empowering experiences that enable families to build genuine relationships that flourish; creating stronger communities that would ultimately impact the world we live in, and generations to come.

Founder and Owner

Maylen Arroyo is originally from Mexico City. She relocated to the U.S. 16 years ago, and has lived in Seattle over the last 9 years. She enjoyed a career in Human Resources before becoming a mom of two girls. When her first daughter turned 2, she decided to shift her career towards working with kids through Yoga. She is now a licensed teacher for kids 2-13 years old.  She also completed her 200-hour Registered Yoga Teacher (RCYT) training through Breathe for Change, which was a transformational experience for her and her family. She is now doing what she loves the most: sharing Yoga and Mindfulness with kids and families. Maylen brings a natural, nurturing, and playful environment to her classes. She hopes that through her classes kids and families find a space where they can be themselves, connect with others through play, feel empowered, and practice love, kindness, and compassion while improving their level of happiness and promote emotional healing. Maylen feels that teaching Yoga is truly fulfilling as she is combining her passion and gifts to make a better world for everyone.
